Laurie Marion is a versatile and accomplished professional with a diverse background in digital media, philosophy, teaching, and community service. With a Master of Science in Digital Media from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Emory University, Laurie's interdisciplinary expertise and skills are invaluable to her current role as Director of Technology at The Friends School of Atlanta. She has also served as a web designer, developer, video producer, editor, filmmaker, and mobile app designer/developer for various organizations and clients.
Along with her professional endeavors, Laurie has also been active in community service and environmental causes as a co-founder of Briarlake Community Forest Alliance and a member of the Decatur Makers Communications Committee. Additionally, she has been a visiting artist, teaching assistant, and adjunct assistant professor at various universities and institutes.
With her excellent communication and leadership skills, combined with her extensive expertise and training, Laurie is an asset to any organization that values innovation, creativity, and community engagement.
