Laurie Gribble-McKnight

Laurie Gribble-McKnight is a professional in workforce development and public administration. She holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the Executive Program at the Voinovich School, which she completed in December 2022.3 Currently, she works as a Senior Research Manager at the Voinovich School, focusing on workforce development with an emphasis on broadband and 5G readiness training.1

In her career, Laurie has been involved in various aspects of workforce development:

1. She has worked with employers to help them find qualified employees and assisted adults and dislocated individuals in obtaining training.6
2. Laurie has experience with apprenticeship programs, having presented on Area 14's Pre-Apprenticeship to Apprenticeship programs at the OJFSDA Annual Conference in Columbus.5

Laurie started a new position on November 1, 2023, continuing her journey at Ohio University by working for her alma mater.2 Her work contributes to Ohio's efforts in broadband workforce training, which has been recognized as being "ahead of the game" according to the Lieutenant Governor.4
