Laurent Vermer is a Partner at Kharis Capital, where he leads the firm's investments in the healthy food and beverage space through Kharis Next Food Capital.12 He is an experienced international investment executive and operator with specific expertise in consumer goods and the agroindustry.12

• M&A and sales management positions at Anheuser-Busch InBev
• M&A and project financing roles at Suez Energy in Brazil and Italy

He also founded Future Food Partners, where he advises industrial companies and financial sponsors on growth strategies and investments in agriculture, food & beverage, agtech, sustainable agriculture, and foodtech.3

Laurent holds an MBA from INSEAD and a BA from Solvay Business School.12 He is fluent in Dutch, French, English, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.1

He is active in the INSEAD alumni community in Belgium, having participated in events on innovation in the food sector.4 Laurent is also a frequent speaker at industry events like the Future Food-Tech Summit in London.5
