Laurent Barbezieux

Laurent Barbezieux is the co-founder of Aktio.cc, an environmental tool for businesses to measure and manage their carbon footprint. Aktio helps companies calculate their carbon footprint (scope 1+2+3), set carbon reduction goals, and track emissions reductions.

Laurent's educational background includes a Master's degree in Strategy, Microeconomy, Accounting, and International Tax Law from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, a CEMS Master's degree in International Management from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business), and studies in Web Development, Fullstack, Computer Science at Le Wagon.

He also pursued studies in Commercial Preparatory Class (ECS) at Lycée Saint Louis, completed a Baccalauréat in Scientific Studies with a focus on Mathematics at Lycée Pasteur, and a Master's degree in Management from HEC School of Management. Additionally, he has engaged in E-learning courses.

Laurent has held various roles in organizations, including being the co-founder of Aktio. Previously, he served as a Manager at A.T. Kearney, a Consultant at Arthur D. Little, worked in sales at Verbund - Austrian Power Trading AG, served as a Junior Consultant at Stratorg, and held positions in the French Embassy, Budapest, and the Association Mission Quechua.
