I was bought into the development team in a sustainable street lighting development program specifically for the public finance initiative (PFI) scheme in conjunction with Land securities, Advanced LEDs and the Solar research institute.

My role included generating a range of integrated solutions combining various cleantech technologies, technical analysis, feasibility and 3D prototypes for presentations to Eon UK managers and local authorities.  

One of the main aims of the program was to conduct a life cycle analysis of the streetlight during its development and investigating the total pay back/ buy back models for each unit.  Focus on production, transport, maintenance and recycling energy of the various products.
