Lauren Yu is a law student with a passion for public interest work, possessing experience in direct client services and impact litigation. She is currently pursuing a Juris Doctor (J.D.) at the University of Michigan Law School, after previously completing her undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Computer Science from Williams College, where she graduated cum laude with Honors. Lauren has a strong background in software development and research in applications of machine learning.
Lauren has served as an Executive Editor at Michigan Law Review and as a Student Attorney at the Civil Rights Litigation Initiative at the University of Michigan Law School. She has also been a Project Manager at the Civil Rights Litigation Clearinghouse. With strong leadership and communication skills, Lauren can work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
