Lauren Weiner

Lauren G. Weiner is a prominent business leader and the co-founder of WWC Global, a management consulting firm that focuses on federal contracting. Established in 2004, WWC Global has become one of the largest woman-owned firms in its sector, serving various U.S. government agencies including the Departments of Defense and State, as well as USAID and Homeland Security.134

Weiner's educational background includes a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. from Dartmouth College. Before founding WWC Global, she worked at the White House's Office of Management and Budget, where she was involved in policy development and performance assessment across multiple federal agencies.25

Under her leadership, WWC Global achieved significant milestones, including winning the largest contract ever awarded to a woman-owned business by U.S. Special Operations Command.36 In 2022, WWC Global was acquired by Command Holdings, an investment arm of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, after which Weiner transitioned to serve as Chief Growth Officer for the new parent company.15

Weiner is also known for her contributions to community service; she co-founded two nonprofit organizations aimed at supporting military spouses in their professional development: In Gear Career and Homefront Rising.24 Additionally, she serves on several boards, including those for the St. Joseph/Baptist BayCare Hospital System and the Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce.12
