Lauren van Biljon

Lauren van Biljon is a senior portfolio manager specializing in Rates and FX at Allspring Global Investments, formerly known as Wells Fargo Asset Management.12 She holds a CFA designation and is responsible for macro portfolio allocation, portfolio positioning, and risk management for rates and FX.1

Van Biljon's educational background includes a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Cape Town and a master's degree in economics from the University of Edinburgh.1 She began her investment industry career in 2007 and has worked for companies such as Evergreen Investments and 4Cast Ltd. before joining Wells Fargo Asset Management.1

In her current role, van Biljon is part of the Global Fixed Income team at Allspring Global Investments.13 She was added as a portfolio manager to the Wells Fargo Multi-Sector Income Fund in October 2018.4 Van Biljon is also a member of the Society of Technical Analysts.1
