Lauren Sanchez is a dedicated environmental professional with a strong educational background and extensive experience in various high-level roles focused on climate and environmental policy.

She pursued her academic endeavors at renowned institutions, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies and Biology from Middlebury College, a Master's degree in Environmental Management from Yale University, and also studied at Sede Prim España.

Throughout her career, Lauren has held significant positions such as Senior Climate Advisor to California Governor Gavin Newsom, Senior Advisor to Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry at the U.S. Department of State, and Deputy Secretary for Climate Policy and Intergovernmental Relations at the California Environmental Protection Agency.

Her expertise extends to international climate negotiations, having served as a Climate Negotiator at the U.S. Department of State, International Policy Director at the California Air Resources Board, and Fulbright Scholar at Masdar Institute of Science and Technology.
