Lauren Marks

Lauren Marks is the Global Head of Partnerships and External Affairs for Johnson & Johnson Global Health Equity.12 In her current role, she focuses on external engagement for J&J's social impact and philanthropic efforts to advance equitable access to care and champion health workers.1 She is responsible for developing partnership strategies and engaging with external stakeholders to improve health equity worldwide.13

Prior to her current position, Lauren had a diverse career:

1. She managed the HIV/AIDS portfolio for Johnson & Johnson's Corporate Contributions group.1
2. She worked in government, serving at the Department of State and USAID.1
3. She was the Director of Private Sector Engagement in the Office of the U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator and Health Diplomacy, leading implementation of PEPFAR.1
4. At USAID/South Africa, she served as the Health Program/Public-Private Partnership Advisor.1
5. She worked at USAID/Washington in the Bureau for Global Health.1
6. Before joining USAID, she was a corporate attorney at Nixon Peabody LLP in New York.1

Lauren Marks holds a law degree from Georgetown University and a BA from Duke University.1
