Lauren LaMonica

Lauren LaMonica is an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in the medical and public health sectors.

She holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Michigan Medical School, a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Molecular, Cellular, Developmental Biology as a Global Health Scholar from Yale University, and a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Chronic Disease Epidemiology from Yale School of Public Health.

Lauren has held various roles in prestigious organizations such as Aetna, where she currently serves as a Data Scientist specializing in Clinical Product Analytics.

Prior to her current position, she was a Wilbur G. Downs International Health Research Fellow at Yale School of Public Health and a Global Health Fellow in Retinal Ophthalmology at Escola Paulista De Medicina - Unifesp.

Her professional journey also includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant in Cell Biology at the Rothman Laboratory at Yale University School of Medicine, a Research Assistant in Visual Neurobiology at the Cepko Laboratory at Harvard Medical School, and a Clinical Research Assistant in Ophthalmology at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center.
