After Project Managing the integration of two Purchase Ledger teams during the Finance Operations Integration Project, I was asked to assume the role of Purchase Ledger Supervisor. 

As well as managing BAU activities including Audit, I was also responsible for the post-integration transition, resolving a number of legacy issues, and leading a Process Improvement (Continuous Improvement) initiative. 


Post-Integration Transition:

This included: 
- Agreeing an appropriate recharge process
- Clearing a backlog of invoices 
- Training new users from the integrated company on the Purchase Ledger processes
- Integrating the additional post-integration workload


Process Improvement (Continuous Improvement)

- Created a Process Improvement Proposal Template
- Created a Process Improvement Proposal Tracker
- Implemented the following Process Improvements:

1. HMRC Payment Controls
2. Direct Debit Reconciliation
3. Scheduled Payment Purchase Invoice Approval Form 
4. Scheduled Payment Purchase Invoice Approval Register
5. Supplier Portals Management Log
6. Purchase Ledger Skills Matrix


BAU Activities included:
- Relationship management
- a 24 hour on call period for Audit
- Objective Setting for the Purchase Ledger Team
- Attendance on the Finance System Change calls
- Representing Purchase Ledger during the MSP Implementation Project
- Overdue payment resolution

Purchase Ledger Supervisor

I joined MS Amlin's Finance Operations department as they began their integration with another company. My primary role was to support the Project Sponsor in managing the Project. 

Responsibilities included:
- Producing a Project Plan
- Managing the Project Plan
- Coordinating Project meetings
- Producing SteerCo and Project Update Documents
- Issuing communications to those affected by the programme

- Additional Ad Hoc tasks such as: 
--Transfer of Direct Debits between accounts
--Re-issue Corporate Cards
--Recharge process for integrated company cost centres
--Coordination with IT for new user set ups on preferred systems

Junior Project Manager

I specialise in recruiting Business Analyst, Project Managers and Programme Managers for Front Office, Front Office Risk and Control, and Regulatory Programmes. I work across all asset classes, FX, Equities, OTC, ETD, Commodities, FI, Rates, Credit, Bonds and with regulations including EMIR, Dodd Frank, MiFID, Basel, Volcker, Liikenen, BCBS etc. Additional change areas include Front Office Control, Operational Risk, Conduct Risk, Unauthorised Trade, Rogue Trade, Trade Controls, Front Office Supervision and Surveillance.
