    At HRC, Lauren leads a 30-person team specializing in earned media, digital and paid media, web, creative, video production, and design. Her role involves shaping the organization's future direction and overseeing communications for various initiatives.

    Before joining HRC, Lauren was a Senior Vice President at Edelman, where she advised clients on brand reputation and managed a team focused on LGBTQ+ issues, as well as worked on projects with the United Nations. She also provided crisis communications support to various organizations, including the City of New York and Planned Parenthood Federation of America.

    Lauren's accolades include being recognized in New York's City & State Political PR Power 50 and PR Week's Pride in PR list. She has also been featured in several prominent publications such as CNBC, The Guardian, and Adweek.

    Her educational background includes a Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts and Science in English with minors in Gender & Diversity Studies and Peace Studies from Xavier University.

    Throughout her career, Lauren has held various communications and leadership roles at organizations like Edelman, National Center for Lesbian Rights, NYC Department of Social Services, and others. She has also contributed to human rights research and initiatives during her time at the Irish Centre for Human Rights.
