Lauren Beno is the Co-Founder and President of Town Hall Collaborative, a community-focused event space located in Denver, Colorado. Together with her business partner Denise Day, Beno envisioned creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for underrepresented communities, including women, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ individuals. The idea for Town Hall Collaborative emerged during the COVID-19 pandemic when Beno and Day were seeking a space where people could gather safely and inclusively.123
Town Hall Collaborative officially opened in October 2022 and has since hosted a wide range of events, from vegan nights and queer country dances to reproductive justice fundraisers and art markets. The venue is designed to be more than just a bar or coffee shop; it serves as a hub for activism and community engagement, offering spaces for lectures, workshops, and open forums.12
