Lauren Ashburn

Lauren Ashburn is a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) with a special focus on advocating for individuals impacted by Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.

Her expertise lies in working with Nonprofit Organizations, Respite Care, Volunteer Management, Advocacy, Public Policy, Program Development, and Public Speaking.

Lauren Ashburn pursued her Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) at the University at Buffalo and holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Social Work from the State University of New York College at Buffalo.

She currently serves as the Director of Education and Training at the Alzheimer's Association®, having previously held roles as the Director of Respite Services & Advocacy, Director of Respite Services & Assistant to Advocacy, MSW Intern at Legal Services for the Elderly, Disabled or Disadvantaged of W.N.Y., Inc., BSW Intern at the Alzheimer's Association®, and Activities Assistant at Mercy Skilled Nursing Facility.
