    Lauren Anne Cove, M.Ed., is a seasoned higher education professional with a strong background in Leadership Development, Social Justice Education, and Student Affairs.

    With over a decade of experience, Lauren has held various roles at esteemed institutions like Southern Methodist University and The University of Texas at Austin, focusing on areas such as Event Planning, Admissions, and Residence Life.

    Currently serving as the Residential Community Director for Armstrong Commons at SMU, Lauren is also pursuing a Doctor of Education in Organizational Change & Leadership at the University of Southern California.

    Passionate about leadership development, Lauren has been a Co-Lead Facilitator for LeaderShape, Inc., facilitating programs nationally and internationally, and is a graduate of the Social Justice Training Institute.

    Education-wise, Lauren holds a Master's degree in Educational Administration from UT Austin, a Certificate in Human Rights and Social Justice from SMU, and a Bachelor's degree in English and Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

    Her extensive experience includes roles such as Course Facilitator, Fire Safety Education Coordinator, and Residential Community Director at SMU, as well as leadership positions at various departments in UT Austin and other institutions.

    Lauren's dedication to liberation work and leadership development is evident through her involvement in conferences like Facing Race and the White Privilege Conference, showcasing her commitment to creating a more just and equitable society.
