Laura Zechel

Laura Zechel is a dedicated PR Specialist with a strong educational background in communication and media.

She completed a Master's degree in Communication with a specialization in media from the University of Ottawa, following a Honours Bachelor's degree with a Major in Communication and a Minor in Business Administration (Marketing) from the same institution.

Professionally, Laura has garnered experience through various roles, including her current position as a Communications and Marketing Advisor at Corporations Canada under Innovation, Science, and Economic Development Canada.

In the past, she has honed her skills serving as an Account Manager at Craft Public Relations, Consultant at APEX Public Relations, Account Coordinator at APEX Public Relations, Publicity Intern at rock-it promotions, inc., and Lotus Leaf Communications Inc., and Editorial Intern at FASHION Magazine.

Laura has also demonstrated her versatility by working in retail as a Cashier & Sales Associate at Urban Outfitters and as an Information Agent at the University of Ottawa.
