Laura Vervaecke

Laura Vervaecke is a native English-speaking marketer and writer with a wealth of project experience in software, continuing education, and finance. With a background that includes roles such as AVP, Client Insights and AVP, Advisor Marketing at LPL Financial, as well as experience in project management and continuing education, Laura brings a diverse skill set to the table. She is currently seeking freelance or permanent opportunities with U.S. companies that align with her values and goals.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys exploring her new home in Porto, Portugal, alongside her husband. Their move to Europe was the realization of a long-held dream, marked by meticulous planning and execution. As a U.S. citizen, Laura's flexibility allows her to work remotely just like any other U.S.-based employee. Her academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Northern Iowa.

Throughout her career, Laura has held various positions, including roles at LPL Financial, where she served as an AVP for Client Insights and Advisor Marketing, as well as a Project Manager and Continuing Education Manager. Prior to that, she gained experience as an Independent Contractor and held roles in product management, publishing, and photojournalism. Laura's experiences have equipped her with a well-rounded skill set that spans marketing, writing, project management, and more.
