Laura Thoms

Laura Thoms is an accomplished legal professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in environmental law and policy.

She obtained her JD from Harvard Law School, her AB in Environmental Science and Policy from Duke University, and completed her high school education at Poolesville High School.

Laura has held several key positions in the U.S. Department of Justice, including Assistant Chief of Environmental Enforcement, Chief of Staff to Assistant Attorney General at the Environment and Natural Resources Division, and Senior Attorney in the Environmental Enforcement Section.

Additionally, she has worked as an Associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP and served as a Law Clerk at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California.
