Laura Stepney
Environmental Engineering Student at UNBC
Laura Stepney is an individual with a diverse educational background in architecture, environmental engineering, and general studies. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Design Studies from Dalhousie University, a Diploma in Architectural and Building Technology from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC). She also completed a year of General Studies at the University of the Fraser Valley.
Laura has been actively involved in various organizations, showcasing her leadership skills and commitment to sustainability. She served as the President of UNBC Students for a Green University, demonstrating her passion for environmental causes. Additionally, she has held roles such as Mentee at Climate Guides 2018, Advisor, Run Crew Leader, and Event Support Team member at MEC™, Architectural Designer and Architecture Coop Student at CoDesign Architecture, Drafting and Design professional at Christophe Vaissade Designs Inc., and Building Inspection and Engineering Assistant at Garland Canada. Furthermore, Laura also represented the School of Construction as a Councilor at the BCIT Student Association and is an Alumnus of Shad Valley International.
