Laura Spence

Laura Spence is a final-year law school student gaining litigation experience as a court certified law clerk. She is preparing to take the bar exam in February 2022. In addition to her legal pursuits, Laura contributes her time to moderating and subtitling Korean TV shows for Rakuten Viki and organizing volunteers for FOOD for Lane County's the Dining Room. Laura has a diverse educational background, including studying Jazz Voice at The New England Conservatory Preparatory, pursuing a Juris Doctor in Transactional Business at the University of Oregon School of Law, and obtaining a Paralegal Certificate from Boston University. She also holds a Bachelor of Music in Composition from The Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University. Laura's professional experience spans across various roles, such as being a Certified Law Clerk at Lane County Government, a Performer, Composer, and Teacher in the music industry, a Judicial Extern for U.S. District Court, District of Oregon, a Paralegal, a Sunday School Teacher, a Voice and Piano Teacher, a Resident Assistant, and a Model at Abercrombie & Fitch.
