Laura Smoliar's professional journey is a blend of early stage investment, entrepreneurship, technology development, and philanthropy with a strong international background. She holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley and an A.B. Summa Cum Laude in Chemistry from Columbia University. Laura has held various key roles in organizations such as being the Executive Director of Taiwan Science & Technology Hub at Stanford University, Managing Director at Cria Innovations, LLC, and Board Member for multiple tech companies like Water Harvesting Inc and Nelumbo, Inc. She was also a Founding Partner at Berkeley Catalyst Fund and has been an active part of Columbia Technology Ventures' Executive Advisors Network.
