    Laura Schifter is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse educational background. She pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies at Amherst College, followed by a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Education Policy, Leadership, and Instructional Practice, as well as an Ed.M. in Mind, Brain, and Education, both from Harvard University Graduate School of Education.

    Throughout her career, Laura has held various key positions in prestigious organizations. Currently, she serves as a Senior Fellow at K12 Climate Action at The Aspen Institute. Previously, she worked as a Fellow at The Century Foundation, a Lecturer, Policy Director, and Instructor in Education at Harvard Graduate School of Education, a Research Consultant at Hehir and Associates, and as a Senior Education and Disability Advisor at the Committee on Education and Labor in the US House of Representatives. She also served as a Disability and Education Advisor, an Education Intern at the White House Domestic Policy Council, a Teaching Fellow, an Education fellow for Senator Chris Dodd at the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, a Math Specialist at Independent, and an Assistant Teacher for 1st and 2nd Grade at The Hamlin School.
