Laura Powers

Laura Powers is an internationally recognized leader in business transformation through Lean Agile methodologies with certifications in CSM, CSPO, CSP, SPC5. With over 25 years of experience in product development across Silicon Valley startups and large enterprises, she excels in agile training, coaching, and consulting.

Her specialties lie in Agile Assessments, Lean Agile leadership, building high-performing Agile teams, designing courseware for impactful training, and focusing on the human aspect of Agile and Agile at scale.

Laura's achievements include being an Agile instructor at Stanford University, co-chairing the Agile Coaching & Mentoring track at Agile Alliance conferences, winning the 2019 Silicon Valley Woman of Influence award, co-founding the 'Agile Games' podcast, and being a sought-after speaker at various Agile events nationally and internationally.

Her educational background includes a MS in Mechanical Engineering and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech, along with studies in Computer Software Engineering at UC Santa Cruz.
