Laura Mitchell is an industrious former CPA with a diverse career background spanning over 20 years. After working at Price Waterhouse in accounting, she shifted her focus to privately-held businesses, finance, acquisition finance, and mergers. Her career took a significant turn when her son with Down Syndrome was born, prompting a change in her professional direction. Alongside her husband and another partner, she co-founded Choice Customer Care, where she ventured into entrepreneurship. Laura's educational background includes a BBA in Public Accounting and Accounting from Loyola University Chicago. She has been actively involved in various organizations, including MATTER Chicago, Down Syndrome Association of Acadiana, Best Buddies International, and Special Olympics, among others.
