Laura McNamara has been actively involved with The Old House New House Home Show since 1992, the premier consumer home show in the Chicago area, focusing on renovation, remodeling, home improvement, building, design, and home transformation.

Throughout her career, Laura has worked closely with contractors, designers, craftsmen, national brands, retailers, and industry innovators, collaborating with professionals dedicated to their craft for the success of the event.

Laura values the partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Northern Fox Valley/ReStore Elgin, a philanthropic organization making a positive impact in the community.

With the challenges brought by the pandemic, Laura embraced the importance of flexibility, a value she also practices through her hobbies of yoga and meditation. She is currently focusing on teacher training in yoga to deepen her connection with people in a more meaningful way.

Laura McNamara studied Advertising and Communications at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She has held positions such as President and CEO, Sales Associate at Lord & Taylor, and Executive Producer at Kennedy Productions, Inc. throughout her career.
