    Laura Magnuson is a seasoned communications strategist with an impressive career spanning various high-profile organizations in government, law, and non-profit sectors. With a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Oregon and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, she has honed her skills in connecting people and ideas globally. Laura is currently the Vice President for Communications and Strategy at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, where she oversees the organization's strategic messaging and global outreach. Prior to her current role, she was the Communications Director at the Obama Foundation, where she helped develop and execute messaging strategies for the organization. She has also served as the Director of Public Relations and Communications at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, the Director of Media Relations at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, and as the Assistant Press Secretary and Director for Strategic Communications at the National Security Council in the White House.

    With her extensive background in PR and communications, Laura possesses a unique ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences. She has also held several diplomatic roles, including the position of Special Assistant to the Secretary of State at the US Department of State and Consular Officer at the US Embassy in Prague.
