    Laura Liswood is an internationally recognized speaker, author, and advisor with a profound impact on leadership and diversity in the women's community for over 20 years.

    From 1999 to 2015, she held key roles as consultant, managing director, and senior advisor for Global Leadership and Diversity at Goldman Sachs.

    During her time as director of the Women's Leadership Project from 1992 to 1996, Liswood extensively researched and documented the global leadership contributions of women heads of state, including interviewing 19 current and former female presidents and prime ministers, which led to the creation of the book and video documentary 'Women World Leaders'.

    In 1997, she co-founded The White House Project, aimed at electing a female President of the United States, inspired by her work with women leaders globally to challenge cultural perceptions about women in leadership roles.

    Liswood's career includes serving as CEO/President of the American Society for Training and Development, consulting for Fortune 500 and international companies, and holding executive positions at Rainier National Bank and Group W Cable, a Westinghouse Broadcasting and Cable subsidiary.

    She has received recognition like the Westinghouse Award of Excellence for advancing women and minorities in the workplace, with a background in management roles in the airline industry and as a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group.

    An accomplished author, her works include 'Serving Them Right' (Harper Business, 1991) and 'The Loudest Duck', a business guide exploring workplace diversity.

    Liswood pursued her education by studying MBA at Harvard Business School, BA at San Diego State University, and JD at the University of California, Davis - School of Law.

    She has been associated with organizations like being an author at Wiley for 'The Elephant and the Mouse', formerly serving as Secretary General at the Council of Women World Leaders, and as a Senior Advisor at Goldman Sachs.
