Laura Kaminer is a highly experienced National Managing Director, Brand Manager, and Marketing Director with a strong background in communications, wholesale sales, digital media, PR, event production, and retail positioning, particularly in the global apparel industry.

With a degree in Fashion Marketing and extensive work with British-based lifestyle brands like Ben Sherman and Fred Perry, Laura has showcased her talent in launching head offices, flagship stores, and in-house operations in both Canada and the USA.

Laura's passion for nurturing iconic brands is evident in her ability to develop detailed business plans and consistently exceed sales targets.

Her professional journey includes roles in wardrobe styling for TV, film, music, and fashion editorial, culminating in the establishment of Her Way of Life Media.

Laura further expanded her expertise by completing post-graduate studies in Interactive Marketing Communications, leading to a role as Marketing and Communications Officer at The Kingston Economic Development Corporation.

In 2016, Laura founded YGK Studios, a venture offering freelance digital strategy, branding, business consulting services, and hosting pop-up shops and events featuring locally designed apparel and vintage clothing.

Her career progression also includes being a cohost on Station 14's Locavore segment, where she showcased creatives and entrepreneurs, and taking on marketing roles at K-Swiss Canada and Haste and Hustle, catering to a new generation of entrepreneurs.
