Laura Janness is the Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Orchard, a creative agency based in New York. She has over 15 years of experience in the advertising industry, having previously held strategy roles at Leo Burnett Detroit, Deutsch LA, Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, Google Creative Lab, and Barton F. Graf.13

Janness has been recognized as a leader in the industry, being named one of AdAge's Leading Women in 2021, Campaign Magazine's 40 Over 40 in 2020, Business Insider's 30 Most Creative Women in Advertising in 2016, and Adweek's 50 Vital Leaders in Tech, Media and Marketing in 2015.1

In addition to her work at Orchard, Janness is a trained data analyst and moderator, and an expert in designing and fielding creative research methodologies.1 She is also a hardworking volunteer for the Isabella Geriatric Center and City Meals in NYC.1
