Laura Hosman

Laura Hosman is an accomplished professional with expertise in Information and Communications Technology (ICT), International Development (ICTD), Public-Private Partnerships, and Learn-by-Doing methodologies.

She is highly experienced in hands-on action-oriented fieldwork, telecommunications, public policy, technology-in-education, international political economy, field methods, international relations, comparative politics, and multinational corporations.

Laura holds a Ph.D. in Political Economy & Public Policy, a Master's in Economics, and a Master's in International Relations from prestigious institutions like the University of Southern California and the University of Amsterdam.

Currently, Laura Hosman serves as an Associate Professor at Arizona State University, where she imparts her knowledge and skills to the next generation of professionals.

Previously, she co-founded SolarSPELL and served in various academic roles at institutions such as California Polytechnic State University, Illinois Institute of Technology, and the University of California, Berkeley.

She has also been involved in organizations like SPIDER - The Swedish Program for ICT in Developing Regions, contributing her expertise to furthering technology initiatives in developing areas.
