Laura Hattendorf

Advisor to Impact Entrepreneurs and Investors

Laura Hattendorf is an accomplished business professional with extensive experience in entrepreneurship, investing, and non-profit leadership. Hattendorf has been the Head of Investments at Mulago Foundation for several years, where she invests in and guides a wide range of social enterprises that provide scalable solutions to poverty. Before that, she co-founded and directed Sustainable Conservation, a non-profit organization that develops economic solutions to environmental problems. Hattendorf has also worked in the private sector as a partner at McArthur/Glen Group - a commercial real estate company that had a successful IPO. In her early career, she worked as a consultant at Strategic Planning Associates. Hattendorf holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania - The Wharton School. She has also been a lecturer in management at Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Hattendorf has served on the Board of Directors of various organizations, including Sustainable Conservation and Innovations for Poverty Action. Her professional interests and expertise include entrepreneurship, impact investing, non-profit leadership, environmentalism, and business strategy.
