Laura is well-versed in sustainable practices, having advised esteemed organizations like United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (UNPRI) and Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB) on reporting frameworks.
Her expertise extends to overseeing numerous LEED, IREM, Energy Star, and Green Globes designations, highlighting her proficiency in sustainable building practices.
Prior to her tenure at Heitman, Laura accrued valuable experience at LaSalle Investment Management, where she played a pivotal role in developing the firm's Global Sustainability Platform.
Laura kick-started her career journey at Grubb & Ellis - Barkley Fraser, specializing in market data coverage, and later delved into Building Information Modeling (BIM) research and development at SmartBIM.
She holds a dual Bachelor's degree in Real Estate and Business Management from the University of Georgia and has been distinguished as a Leonard Leadership Scholar Certification recipient.
In her spare time, Laura indulges in riding motorcycles, favoring models such as Ducati V4 and Monster.
