LaToya Tavernier, Ph.D, is a dedicated and passionate educator with extensive experience in working with diverse student populations, particularly underrepresented, low-income, and first-generation college students, guiding them through their academic journeys.

Dr. Tavernier holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Sociology and Africana Studies from the City University of New York Graduate Center, a Master's degree in Sociology from Queens College, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Columbia University in the City of New York.
