Lasse Meholm

Lasse Meholm is the CEO and head consultant at Finansit AS, a Norwegian consulting firm. He has extensive experience in the financial industry, having previously served as the Head of Blockchain & DLT strategy at DNB IT, a business partner for digitalization at DNB Wealth Management and DNB Liv, and a project leader for IT maturity and strategy at Nordea Bank.1

Meholm has also held several other leadership positions, including:

• Lead Digital Asset & DLT at EY Tax & Law (2020-2021)
• Founder and CEO of FinanceCube AS (later renamed Finansit AS) (2002-2014)
• Founder and CEO of Tazett AS (2000-2002, part of Tieto)
• Senior consultant at PwC Consulting (1986-1990)

He has a diverse educational background, including:

• Oxford Driving Disruptive Growth Programme at the University of Oxford (2019)
• Member of the EU Blockchain Observatory (2018-present)
• Various certifications and courses related to blockchain, token economy, and digital assets1

Meholm is an active speaker and has delivered over 100 presentations on topics such as digital transformation, IoT, the future of banking, blockchain, DLT, and cryptocurrencies between 2016 and 2019.1 He has participated in several high-profile conferences, including Money2020 Europe, Nordic Strategy Forum Banking and Insurance, and Blockchain workshops for the Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority.1

Currently, Meholm is involved in a project for central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) at Norges Bank (the central bank of Norway) from 2021 to 2023.13 He is also a member of the advisory board at BitSpace2 and has been the manager of Asker Turnforening, a gymnastics club, from 1995 to 2001.2
