    Larycia Hawkins is a political scientist, public speaker, and embodied solidarity activist with a focus on intersectionality of sociopolitical movements, economic and social justice, and the interconnection of race, religion, and politics.

    She holds a PhD in Political Science, an MPA in Public Administration from the University of Oklahoma, and a BA in History and Sociology from Rice University.

    Throughout her career, Larycia Hawkins has held various academic positions, including Director and Professor at Lincoln University, Faculty Fellow, Teaching Faculty, and Lecturer at the University of Virginia, and roles as Director of the Peace & Conflict Studies Certificate Program, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor at Wheaton College.
