Larry Tasse

Larry Tasse embarked on his musical journey in the heart of New York City's Tin Pan Alley, initially as a Staff Songwriter for Kama Sutra Records, later known as Casablanca Records.

He was a pivotal member of the Art Rock band 'The Hello People,' creating five commercial albums, two of which were produced by Todd Rundgren, and making appearances on popular TV shows like 'The Tonight Show' and performing at iconic venues nationally.

His musical endeavors extended to touring with Todd Rundgren as a Pianist, Keyboardist, and Vocalist on the 'Back to The Bars' tour.

Larry Tasse's music has left an imprint on soundtracks like 'Almost Famous' and '6 Feet Under,' reflecting the depth of his career.

Transitioning to a successful solo career, Larry continued his musical legacy by performing in various cities, engaging in studio recordings, and captivating audiences in Senior Community venues that appreciate the essence of Rock and Roll.

Currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Larry Tasse remains active in Live Theatre and Film production, teaching a new generation of music enthusiasts piano, voice, songwriting, and composition.

His dedication to Performing, Songwriting, Composing, and Teaching shines through his work, reflecting his passion for music and education.

Larry's educational background includes studying Theatre at Berkeley Repertory Theatre and Music along with History at Nassau Community College.
