Larry Kamer

Larry Kamer is the Owner of Kamer Consulting Group LLC, a strategic communications firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area. The firm specializes in managing issues, controversies, and crises for various clients, including educational institutions, healthcare organizations, and government agencies. Kamer has held this position since June 2009, and he has extensive experience in public affairs and communications.1

In addition to his role at Kamer Consulting Group, Kamer serves as the Chief Executive Officer of The Kamer Group and is a professor at both the University of San Francisco and Carnegie Mellon University, where he teaches courses related to strategic communications and crisis management. He has also been involved in various leadership roles in the public relations sector, including positions at Fleishman-Hillard and Manning Selvage and Lee, among others.1

Kamer holds a B.A. in Political Science/Urban Studies and an M.A. in Public Policy, both from Northwestern University.1
