Larry Ferguson

Larry Ferguson is a seasoned retail professional with a wealth of experience in the supermarket industry in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has held various management positions throughout his career, including as a store owner, General Manager for Berkeley Bowl, Operations Manager for Andronico’s Markets and New Leaf Community Markets, and General Manager for Lunardi's Supermarkets. Larry's years of hands-on experience in managing operational strategies, financial projections, hiring, inventory management, retail pricing, profit, purchasing, GPM, and POS needs make him well-suited for any position or consulting on supermarket projects.

Larry has seen the supermarket industry from every angle, including opening new stores, remodeling older stores, and managing day-to-day operations for single supermarkets and businesses with multiple locations. He has a passion for the food industry and understands the specific needs of the independent and small chain supermarkets - whether conventional or organic. His dynamic retail management career has been marked by achievements in team building, cash flow, customer service, employee relations, and merchandising.

Larry's education includes studying for an A+ in People at Hard Knocks. He has also been a former Full-time Advisor at Community Foods Market.
