Larry Downey, CRE, is a highly accomplished professional in the commercial real estate industry with a strong commitment to his clients and community.
Throughout his tenure at Cushman & Wakefield (C&W), Larry has consistently ranked among the Top 10 Producers in the Phoenix office and has excelled as a Top Tenant Advisory broker for the past decade.
In 2012, Larry earned the prestigious title of Vice Chairman, a recognition held by only a select few nationally, and was the sole Vice Chairman in the Phoenix office at that time.
His leadership extends to his appointment as Global Chairman of C&W's national Tenant Advisory Group (TAG) in 2013, overseeing a team of over 700 Tenant Advisory brokers for four years.
Larry remains actively involved with TAG, currently serving as Chairman Emeritus on the Executive Committee, and also leads the national Pursuits Committee while mentoring emerging brokers through the Mentee Program.
Recognized for his dedication, Larry was named the 2018 Mentor of the Year and became a member of The Counselors of Real Estate® in 2019.
Larry is affiliated with various industry organizations, including CoreNet Global, National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), and the Greater Phoenix Chamber, among others.
With an impressive track record, Larry has facilitated over 4,500 lease and sale transactions exceeding 103 million square feet, totaling more than $6 billion in consideration.
He represents well-known Arizona-based companies on matters such as HQ site selection, relocations, and expansions, with clients including Ernst & Young, Wellcare, and Pfizer Pharmaceutical, among others.
In addition to his local engagements, Larry acts as the primary point of contact for national corporations seeking multi-market office locations, leveraging his expertise and the C&W platform to execute transactions across the country.
