Lara Hopwood

Lara Hopwood is a Project Manager at the Burning Man Project, specifically working with the Regional Network. In her role, she collaborates with the Regional Network Committee to develop and implement educational and communication initiatives aimed at enhancing leadership capabilities and sharing the stories of Burning Man Network Regional Contacts. This work is vital for cultivating the Burning Man culture globally.

Lara has a diverse background, having worked across various industries including arts, technology, medical, and insurance, in both private and non-profit sectors. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of California at Berkeley. Her involvement with Burning Man dates back to 2008, and she has participated as a theme camp organizer and a member of the Burning Man Fire Conclave. Additionally, Lara has contributed to the arts community as a fire performance faculty member at The Crucible, an arts education non-profit in Oakland, California, for over a decade.12
