Lara Curkeet
Lara Curkeet is a multi-faceted professional with experience in both human and veterinary health in both research and clinical environments. She is certified in project management and has extensive knowledge of Microsoft and Adobe software. Lara has worked in various organizations in technical writing, project management, and non-profit management. Her experiences range from being a Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health to being a Humane Agent at the Dane County Humane Society. She studied Biological Aspects of Conservation and holds a Master of Science degree in One Health from the University of Edinburgh.
Lara is passionate about improving the health of humans, animals, and the environment through research, policy, outreach, and education. Currently, she works as a Sr. Specialist at Ovation.io and helps manage their Biorepository Program. She believes in using her skills and expertise to make the world a better place.
