Lance Brown

Lance Brown is a dedicated educator who has spent his career inspiring students to develop a love of learning through mathematics and black history. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Black History from City University of New York City College. Lance has worked as an SPS math teacher, providing high-quality instruction and guidance to students in Seattle Public Schools. With a passion for pedagogy, he focuses on developing teaching strategies that engage students and cultivate critical thinking skills. Lance's work in education reflects his commitment to using mathematics and history as tools to empower students and foster community service. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a willingness to go above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of students.
