Lana Whited

Lana Whited is an accomplished Professor of English with a rich background in higher education. She has a strong publishing track record and expertise in teaching, publishing, academic advising, and program administration. Lana holds degrees from prestigious institutions including an M.A. in Creative Writing from Hollins University, an M.A. in English from the College of William and Mary, a Ph.D. in 20th Century British and American Literature from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and a B.A. in English, Speech, & Drama from Emory & Henry College. Currently, Lana serves as a Professor of English and Director of the Boone Honors Program at Ferrum College, where she has previously held similar positions.
