Keshre was born into a farming family in the small village of Lepa, Madhya Pradesh. Before founding Groww in 2016, Keshre worked at Flipkart, one of India's largest e-commerce platforms. He was among the first product managers at Flipkart, where he played a crucial role in launching and managing various products, including Flipkart Marketplace and Flipkart Quick.24 His experience at Flipkart laid the groundwork for his entrepreneurial journey.
In 2016, Keshre teamed up with three other former Flipkart colleagues—Harsh Jain, Ishan Bansal, and Neeraj Singh—to launch Groww. The platform aimed to simplify investing for everyday users by providing access to stocks, mutual funds, ETFs, IPOs, US stocks, and more. Since its inception, Groww has experienced rapid growth, with its user base expanding from approximately 0.78 million in FY21 to over 6.63 million active investors by September 2023.132

Keshre's vision for Groww is centered around making investing accessible and straightforward for all Indians.
