Lal Chandran

Lal Chandran is a highly experienced professional in the IT industry with over 23 years of experience. Lal has been involved in building new software products, taking them to market and scaling them successfully. He has worked in various roles as a Software Developer, People Leader and Product Manager with a focus on strategy and business. One of his standout skills is engaging with customers at C-levels with new products and closely supporting sales and marketing to ensure success in the market.

Lal has extensive technical experience in software programming and architectures, data warehousing, cloud, devOps and security. He has worked with cross-cultural teams in multiple countries and built them successfully. Lal is also active in the start-up ecosystem and chairs the board of an equity investment firm.

Currently, Lal is the Co-Founder and CTO of iGrant.io, a Swedish #MyData operator. iGrant.io is a personal data exchange and consent mediation platform that enables consented data exchange in a human-centric manner. Previously, he held various roles at Ericsson, including Head of Cloud Application Platform (OneCloud), Global Product Manager (Cloud Security), and Engineering Manager.

Lal holds a Master of Science from the University of Liverpool and a Bachelor of Technology from the National Institute of Technology Calicut. He also completed Corporate Trainings at Ericsson and Professional Continuing Education on Datacenter Infrastructures at HeatSpring.
