Lachlan Evenson
Lachlan Evenson is a Principal Program Manager on the open source team at Azure, with extensive experience and knowledge in Cloud Native projects.
Lachlan is an emeritus Kubernetes steering committee member and release lead, as well as a Helm charts maintainer, demonstrating his deep operational expertise.
He is highly involved in building and contributing to software that tackles significant challenges within the Cloud Native ecosystem.
With a background in Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Docker, networking, SDN, automation, Python, Ruby, OpenStack, orchestration tools, and cloud storage, Lachlan possesses a diverse skill set.
Lachlan holds a Bachelor of Information Technology with a focus on Data Communications and Database Systems from QUT.
He has held key positions at Microsoft as a Principal Program Manager and previously as a Governing Board Member, CNCF Ambassador, and Kubernetes Steering Committee Member at CNCF.
Prior to his role at Microsoft, Lachlan served as a Senior Solutions Architect at Deis, Inc, Team Lead at Lithium Technologies, and in various engineering positions at TradingScreen and Integ.
