L. McCormick, a highly skilled and versatile individual, has dedicated her life to serving others and making a positive impact on the world around her. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from the University of Montevallo and additional studies in Merchandising and Behavioral Sciences, McCormick has honed her expertise in multiple fields. She has served in many positions, including General Manager at Royal Furniture and Standard Furniture and Mattress, Customer Service/Sales Representative at Heilig-Meyers Furniture, and Designer at Kitchen Potential, among others. McCormick has also provided mentorship and advocacy to Chamber of Commerce organizations in both Cullman and Shelby County.

McCormick's educational background also includes Homeland Security Training from the U. S. Border Patrol Academy, providing her with essential knowledge of federal law enforcement and behavioral sciences. McCormick's talents extend beyond her professional experience, as she is a writer, contributing to the "Freedom in Everyday Life" platform, and has interned as an Interior Design Consultant at Richard Tubb Interiors and Jefferson Home Furniture.
