i helped take the Extreme Tech Challenge from inception to becoming the world's largest startup competition, implementing integrated vertical awards with sponsorship, gathering critical resources to support startups in scaling, creating unique mentoring and media opportunities, and more. It is the first startup competition in conjunction with the world's largest consumer electronics show, CES and Sir Richard Branson. The top 10 pitch live on stage at CES. The top 3 pitch Sir Richard Branson and a celebrity panel of judges on Branson's private Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands. As XTC's first Executive Director, contest strategist, and contest emcee for both the semi-finals and finals, I vetted more than 4,000 startups, and helped select the best companies to present on stage at CES as well as before Sir Richard Branson.

I built the video department from scratch, within one year earning PandoDaily two Emmy Nominations. I was Executive Producer for our "PandoMonthly" events, hiring the crews, creating the staging, calling the shots, and managing the edit of the final videos. That series received an Emmy nod as well as my Office Crashers series, which I created, hosted, and produced. Through my time at PandoDaily, I not only produced and reported using video, but I also was a regular contributor to the blog with in-depth looks at key trends in Silicon Valley.

I built the West Coast video department from scratch and reported on the hottest companies in Silicon Valley. My main focus was technology. But my favorite stories were about executives who lived extraordinary and rewarding lives outside the boardroom. I was at the forefront of a new extreme entrepreneur with whom I was first to bring to the forefront in mass coverage through my Emmy nominated "Personal Best" series. I also anchored a daily market news segment, wrote for the magazine and appeared on Fox News Channel's "Forbes On Fox" broadcast.

I covered every major race at Sonoma Raceway, including NASCAR, IndyCar, NHRA, and AMA Superbike. Some of my favorite in-depth 1:1 interviews include: Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Carl Edwards, Helio Castroneves, Will Power (Interviewed him in a dressing room at Macy's because he was getting chased down by fans), and more. 

On the Forty-Niners Insider Show, I discovered the personal side of the players in profile pieces, uncovered secrets of the stadium, and stood in as a GoldRush girl.

And I was the sideline reporter for Pac 12 football games, profiling the players, talking to the coaches between plays, at the half, and after the game, and added to the conversation about the strategy of each team.

The Sacramento Kings asked me to do several video pieces on key players to run during the live Kings broadcasts. I learned the 'Soulja Boy' dance from several players during their media day on the court and went to a Reptile Show in Sacramento with Mikki Moore to check-out his favorite chameleons, snakes, and Bearded Dragons. I even introduced live on the show.

I was hired to do a test pilot for a new web site which focused on the newest private jets. We flew to Oshkosh to report on all of the latest and greatest in aviation technology.

I hosted the broadcast for the National Golf League's broadcasts on Comcast Sports California. I was the reporter on the course interviewing the players during game play and after the final hole. Plus, I did the play-by-play commentary once the key shots were cut in editing.

I produced, wrote, and anchored the morning news cut-ins. I also did the traffic reports and weather reports. On top of that I hosted a weekly interview show that focused on issues impacting the community.

Produced and co-hosted a 30 minute business news show that aired in a top 5 market. I covered the winners and losers on the stock market daily and interviewed top analysts and CEOs in Silicon Valley live. At the same time, I covered breaking news as a general assignment reporter for the morning show and evening newscasts, depending on how the reporter shifts rotated.

GM John Burgess hired me as the first female Sports Director/Anchor/Reporter at KFTY TV 50 as well as the first female TV Sports Director in the San Francisco Bay Area. I produced, wrote, and edited 3 sportscasts nightly on top of producing and hosting a monthly racing show sponsored by Sonoma Raceway.

With only experience on the field, on the court, and on the diamond as a stats girl and athletic trainer for various sports teams throughout high school and college, my sports know-how and passion for athletes and the game got me an audition for ABC. I was immediately hired, and I leveraged that opportunity to gain a full-time position as the first female sports director/anchor/reporter in the San Francisco Bay Area.

When I wasn't sporting a business suit, I was wearing a wet suit climbing to the top of 3-tier human pyramids on water. My ultimate goal is to water ski behind Richard Branson holding on the rope (attached to his harness) with my foot, as he kiteboards across the English Channel again.

I quickly moved up to become the West Coast Bureau Chief covering all the breaking news during the energy crisis. I was the first online video reporter to be invited to be on the California State Capital Press Corp.
