Kyle Wilhoit
Kyle Wilhoit is an accomplished cybersecurity expert who has devoted his career to cracking down on cyber criminals and state entities worldwide. He holds a Master of Science in Information Systems and a Bachelor of Arts in Information Systems from Lindenwood University, as well as a Masters in Homeland Security, Forensics from an unspecified institution. Wilhoit is also an alumnus of Washington University.
Wilhoit is a prolific writer and co-author of the book "Hacking Exposed Industrial Control Systems: Ics And Scada Security Secrets And Solutions," distributed by McGraw-Hill Education. He has been a member of the Black Hat Guest Review Board since at least 2018, in addition to his other duties.
Wilhoit has held various positions in the cybersecurity industry, including Senior Manager of Unit 42 Threat Research, Manager of Threat Research in the same team, and Principal Cyber Attack and Exploit Researcher. He has also been a Senior Threat Researcher at Trend Micro and an Adjunct Professor and Course Developer for Southern New Hampshire University, teaching students about cybersecurity.
Wilhoit's expertise lies in researching and combating cyber attacks and the hackers who carry them out. He has worked for major cybersecurity firms such as Palo Alto Networks and FireEye, and his contributions have helped secure countless networks from malicious agents.
